Application of Magnetic Field to Accelerate the Crystallization of Scopolamine Hydrobromide

In this paper, a rapid and efficient method for the preparation of scopolamine hydrobromide with high purity was established, named as magnetic field-induced crystallization. Based on difference in solubility between hydrobromide, salifying crystallization selected then treated synergistic effect field to achieve goal purifying scopolamine. The influence solvents intensity process well impact crystal growth direction, were investigated. results revealed that treatment under led shortened induction time (25.64–75.46%), an increased crystals (0.95–2.92%), enhanced recovery rate (4.51–10.78%). Furthermore, it also discovered could destroy hydrogen bonds within solution, change physical properties mother liquid, so promote nucleation formation growth. These findings suggested external be promising preparation.
